JigJag is not just a toy; it’s a tool for hands-on learning and collaborative fun. It aligns with early childhood education frameworks, supporting goals, promoting creativity, social skills, gross & fine motor skills and physical development.

Rewilding The Children!
It’s time to "rewild" our children by reintroducing them to the joy of hands-on, imaginative play. By encouraging activities that involve building, constructing, and creating, we give children the tools to rediscover their innate curiosity and creativity.
It’s about giving kids the space and opportunity to engage with the world physically, to play without predefined rules or outcomes, and to experience the joy of building something with their own two hands.
The Power of Play!
Creative, open-ended play allows children to use their imagination, problem-solving skills, and physical abilities in ways that screens simply can’t replicate. Building, constructing, and pretending engage a child's brain in deep and meaningful ways. These activities help develop motor skills, social interactions, and emotional resilience—things that can't be learned by tapping a screen. Real-world play is how kids learn to navigate their environment, test out ideas, and figure out how to work with others

The Possibilities of Play
-
Problem-Solving Skills: Kids learn to think critically as they figure out how to assemble structures or solve challenges.
-
Spatial Awareness: Constructing with large, modular pieces helps children develop an understanding of shapes, sizes, and proportions.
-
Creative Thinking: JigJag inspires open-ended play, encouraging children to innovate and imagine new possibilities.
-
Gross Motor Skills: Handling and connecting life-size pieces engages larger muscle groups, promoting physical activity.
-
Fine Motor Skills: Connecting pieces requires precision, helping to refine hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
-
Balance and Coordination: Building and interacting with structures encourages physical balance and body coordination.

Our exciting new resource is our architectural building set from Jigjag. Blue Skies is the first purchaser of their new recycled plastic building set & we are so excited. This set promotes STEM concepts, critical thinking & problem solving skills as well as our physical strength & team work. We also have a mini set so we can plan out our build before using the large pieces. We are still learning the tricks & look forward to having this resource for a very long time Thank you Tasha (& your young assistant) for your demonstration & support. Congratulations on developing a wonderful, sustainable product that will be around for so many children to play & learn with.
